Gender redesigns like this would be somewhat understandable (keyword being somewhat) understandable if they were humanoid mons like Machamp even something like Primarina which is animalistic but has clear gender elements. The Jotho starters have no human traits, so adding gender bullshit like this is cringy. Even most of these go against the concept of the orignals (Why doesn't Bayleef have a bayleaf anymore? Why would a quadruped have spines on its front? What the fuck happened with Croconaw?).
