from a design standpoint, some pokemon make sense to be one gender rather than the other
if i have a machamp, i'd want it to be male
if i have an oricorio, i'd want it to be female
if i have a glalie, i'd want it to be male since froslass is kind of a female counterpart anyway
if i have a vileplume, it really doesn't matter
