I always thought it was cool how Scizor wasn't a straight upgrade, but rather more of a side grade for people who want it. Obviously Scizor mogs Scyther competitively because Bug/Steel is a way better typing than Bug/Flying but for in-game playthroughs you can very easily get away with using one or the other. Do you want some more speed with Scyther or a bulkier, harder hitting mon with less speed with Scizor? Makes me wish we had more evos like it because it makes for fun playthroughs where you just use the prevo
