Isn't the anime 100 times better? Imagine the romance, like Erika being in denial of liking Ash, we'd have Erika's song instead of Misty's song and Ash blushing at Erika in a yukata.
She'd combine Brock and Misty's qualities, so she'd tell Ash off with a hammer occasionally but also guide him and also flirt with every girl Brock style.
