>>45877025I don't feel like that's what I'm doing but I do enjoy talking about this stuff so sure
Hatterene is the personification of fairy tales desu, it's a perfect blend of a Witch and a Princess with both their hats fused into one and also kinda reminds me of the "princess in a tower" image. Hatterene also draws from mythological Witches. I personally feel like, due to aspects of it's personality, it probably drew a lot of inspiration from The Morrigan or Morgan le Fay, the former for the G-Max Form (with the G-Max form also emphasizing the three tentacles, three being an important number for witches) and the latter being it's normal form.
Also hair was apparently important for Witches and people used to think magic was stored in their hair, which is probably why Hatterene and Grimmsnarl have such an emphasis on hair. So, the more you know I guess.
I also like the Spade design on the front of it's dress, since the Queen of Spades has such connections to bad luck and, iirc, madness. It's just a cool Fae Witch, honestly, there's not much else for me to go into. It's pretty fucking awesome.
