Alolan Vulpix was a thing before Pokedex culling was a thing. Back in the day, all Pokémon could be in the game, which is not possible anymore. So the developers did not have to stick to what made sense and could add nonsensical Pokémon like ice Vulpix.
Instead of thinking about what the game doesn't have, why don't you try being excited about what the game has?
Think about your favorite sequel to any other franchise. It likely lacked some features that the previous title had, but it was still great in its own manner. It's the same for Pokémon SwSh.
Yes, it won't have a certain Pokémon (feature) that you like, but it still can be a great game. My favorite sequel is Mass Effect 2, and even that game lacked a lot of features from Mass Effect 1, like the car parts.
Sure, some people enjoyed the car parts, but the developers just chose to focus on something else and the game was still amazing. Why do you think this won't happen to SwSh?
