So against these defenders your would trade in 22% bulkiness in order to resist 40% damage from fairy attacks like Dazzling gleam and 29% damage from steel attacks like heavy slam/iron tail
Against other big threats like Dnite, Gyarados, slowbro/king you usually swap off machamp anyway but he would perform better then Blaziken in these matchups because of his bulk.
the only big defender where machamp outclasses Blaziken is against Ttar because stone edge would completely murder Blaziken.
All this is assuming Blaziken gets the exact same moveset as the champ (Counter/Dpunch) which most likely won't happen since Blaziken never learns Dpunch, it'll all come down to it's moveset and which of the 2 ends up with the better fighting charge move.
