>>13316688The mega evolutions are pretty cool. The pokemon and designs they chose all feel pretty natural, and make sense as something new that couldn't just be traditional evolutions. I think Lucario and Blaziken are the best examples of this.
That said, this is some Digimon shit. Anyone who denies it never understood the differences between Digimon and Pokemon in the first place. It feels like they added Digimon elements in a Pokemon-feeling way, so I'm optimistic about it.
My greatest hope is that the Mega Evolutions don't mean we'll get fewer actual new Pokemon, like the many gen 4 evos did. This would be even worse.
