Just finished a run of Pokemon Y, first stages only with exp share off. Team ended up around lvl 60 by the champion fight, and I only managed to beat Diantha by stuffing chespin full of x-items.
I never knew how many trainer pokes had such good coverage in the later half of the game. The blackbelts had fighting pokemon with both earthquake and poison jab.
