>>37637787The battles/menus feel more satisfying than any other generation and it has my favourite new selection of Pokemon. I also feel that it was actually one of the more living regions as the (important) characters in it were actually doing things beyond just waiting in their designated spot for a battle and then never being seen again. Little things like all of the gym leaders having other jobs, the Champion having an actual identity instead of being some mystery figure or seeing characters reach conclusions that aren't strictly battle oriented (Bianca/N) went a long way towards making the region feel more real than others.
