Getting drunk (with moderation) with friends is more of a social thing and can be very fun, it lets you open a bit more. Personally, I don't like beer but I'm fine with all kinds of prepared drinks, wine, sake or tequila.
On topic: Either Weavile or Lilligant, which makes me wonder how would Grass-types handle booze.
