>>26619222There's no way they'd ditch the concept of Megas. They've sunk way too much into them to stop now, they're here to stay. I just hope that any more Megas we get are on unpopular or middleweight Pokemon in need of a boost, I'm sick of shit like Gengar and Salamence getting gamebreaking Megas when they're already great.
Pokemon Amie'll probably be left behind (and we'll get some new way to evolve Sylveon, I'm sure) and be replaced by a new gimmick mechanic, though. I'll miss it, I thought it was cute, but if they got rid of the Sinnoh Underground and Poketech after Gen IV, they'll probably break my heart again.
