>>56950943>VS Winona>I lead with Tera the Manectric who immediately catches a crit Quick Attack to the face from the Swellow>2 Sparks take care of the first bird but Tera is now too weak to tackle any other threats>Altaria comes out>I swap in Richie who tanks an Earthquake>Richie takes a Dragonbreath, eats his Sitrus Berry and hits back with an Ice Beam>Altaria is at ~35% but Winona opts to not heal it so Richie tanks one more Dragonbreath while the second Ice Beam takes the cottonbird out>Pelipper comes out, i swap in Ernie who tanks a Water Gun>Ernie hits Pelipper with a Strength before getting confused by a Supersonic>I decide to not gamble with confusion and just swap in Bern who eventually takes Pelipper out with Wing Attack spam after Winona just stalls by alternating between Protect and Hyper Potions>Skarmory comes out which Bern uses a Confuse Ray and some Bites on before swapping with Ernie who takes it out with SurfWas so confident in my team that after clearing the gym trainers i decided to just tackle the leader as well instead of grinding for the level cap.
Also lost my Gloom to another Guts pokémon when i had a brainfart and used Stun Spore on it instead of Sleep Powder in order to improve the catch odds
