The tears sliding down her face are a mixture of two things, sadness that has accumulated overtime and the explosion resulting from the Caterpie being downright blunt.
Clemont takes out an umbrella and holds it over his head in preparation for a brewing storm, "I should have known. Crying won't help you, you know, in fact it might even make the situation worse. If crying did help, this place would have restored itself ages ago."
Sniffling, Alice looks up at the Caterpie, she looks like a complete disaster. Like someone ran a truck through her and had no remorse about doing it, or like someone drowning her favorite pet just to get a rise out of her.
Wiping her eyes, the girl wants to make one thing clear to Clemont before bawling anymore. Suddenly, she stomps on the ground to declare her point.
"I 'DON WANNA GO!"The outburst certainly takes the Caterpie off-guard, but he quickly falls back into assuming a position of cynic assistant, "Nothing you can do about it, you know. It's fate and that's how fate works, yours was determined years ago. Can't change it."
A) Keep crying, accept that all is lost.
B) Tell him he's wrong, things can change once in a while.
C) Man, Alice just wanted to live her life with poppy and mum-mum, she didn't ask for this shit, tell him that.
D) Eat some more blue mushrooms.
