For whatever autistic reason I began work on a "living Pokedex". I've wanted to actually complete a Pokedex (without "cheating") since red/blue, so here I am. The living aspect is just me being hopelessly OCD.
So I have a Shiny Ditto that I'm using to make babies. I noticed that where as a normal Ditto and any other Pokemon tend to be somewhat slow to breed ("the two don't seem to like each other very much", or whatever) that Shiny Ditto and *any* other Pokemon produce eggs fairly quickly. "The two seem to get along."
Is this normal? Are Pokemon more attracted to each other when one is Shiny?
I'm also trying to determine if Shiny Ditto in X/Y increases the odds of a shiny Pokemon egg. I know that this hasn't been true in previous gens, but with the shiny rate in this game being a lot more friendly in this game compared to others, I just for some reason suspect Shiny Ditto might yield a very high rate, like maybe 1/512 or even higher. Time will tell.
