There's no discussion, nothing to contribute after the answer is given.
It just clogs up the catalog and shows that people don't have to put any research into anything to get what they want.
Do you know what I just did? I just googled "How to breed pokemon xy" and the very first result had all information needed. Evs, IVs, Hidden Abilities, Egg moves, Power items, videos references.
Hell, even at the bottom of the page in the FAQs is the answer to the destiny knot question.
I could have had every single piece of information I needed about breeding in Generation 6 from 5 keywords.
I have to go through more fucking steps to even get a thread started on /vp/ and even then I still have to wait for my answer.
So you know what? Fuck these dumbshits who can't even take the time and effort to solve their own problems. They deserve to be made fun of.
