But she's super distrusting of people in general and her high skepticism of other human beings makes her liable to assume ulterior, manipulative motives even if there aren't any. She's not the least bit trusting of strangers or people who want something from her at all. She wouldn't shoot someone unless they are doing something she outright does not approve of that actually causes harm to something of value. A drilling rig doesn't interest her at all but she knows that such things are kinda necessary to grab natural resources. Nothing can be gained without a bit of environment alteration. She cares about the environment but not to the point that she doesn't want people harnessing natural resources at all.
tl;dr She wouldn't shoot him but she wouldn't be interested in helping either.
