I enjoy everything about Pokémon. Everything except the actual mainline games.
I enjoy the art, the music, the character & monster designs, the worldbuilding, even a few spinoff games like Mystery Dungeon and Pokken.
But I simply cannot enjoy the pure, raw gameplay of standard Pokémon. I just find it rather boring.
Does that make me a "fake fan" or whatever, even if I enjoy the spinoff games as well as the anime when I was younger?
