No really everytime someone posts the Ash/Serena flashback on /a/ there's like a ton of replies.
It's not that /a/ and /v/ are hating the anime, it's like they're confused about it and they don't even know if it's good or not because they haven't watched it. ie: they don't get the whole "Serena" thing.
So uh yeah, the humor factor. I can't wait until Savior makes another thread.
