the way you get hints for it is that you talk to random NPCs in houses to get the passwords (said NPCs only say the passwords once and don't repeat them, and it's not obvious they're passwords), I have no idea how you figure out the ghost lady, and then the X-key chest I think is maybe formed by an X from where you get both the keys? I don't know
there's worse secret quests, unfortunately

an actual 'collab' would be something like, i dunno, an interceptor from overseer files ends up in the vanguard world and then you do a sidequest and get a unique aevian form or something, not just yoinking the regionals and tossing them in your game
