Character customization returning in SM felt like such a monkey's paw wish. Kalos had a lot of really nice looking clothes, and the exact hairstyle I wanted for my trainer. Alola had a bunch of tacky garbage you'd see tourists wearing, with a few nice clothes that are unfortunately horribly limited by terrible ideas like version exclusive dyes. And the hairstyles are hot garbage, to boot.
Goddamn it, why couldn't they have ported this hairstyle to SM?
