So I got that Mareep I was looking for from the last time I was on these threads and I noticed I had three open spots left in my shiny box. So I though "I'll get a couple more horde mons, and finally get that Pumpkaboo as my last one."
So over the course of a week I get that Whismur and Swablu (couldn't play much with work and such), and I start running around in a Safari to find that pumpkin.
A couple days ago, while listening to some sweet Mega Man tunes... I made a huge mistake. I ran from the damn pumpkin, because the camera angle made it so I couldn't see the purple body. After going through the stages of grief, I start again.
Two extra Lampents and two extra Dusclops later, I finally found it and caught it using a Master Ball because symbolism.
So it's been real and I hope y'all have good luck on your hunts, I think I've had my fill for now.
TL;DR: Looked for shone pumpkin, ran from shone pumpkin, caught shone pumpkin later, done with shiny hunting for now.
