Having to go out of your way to even find out they existed and then using the Braille translator in the instruction booklet felt like you were really solving some huge mystery, plus I thought the lore behind them was cool before it was retconned
I just don't understand why Regice and Registeel were out in the middle of the ocean and the jungle respectively
