>>47793968Thank you anon. I recently bought myself a bike (didn't need to transport myself beforehand) and with work starting back up, I realise it's the best thing that could have happened. Had some time alone to process it further after the burial, but not enough that I started getting into my own head. I've also noticed the sea-change in my priorities and actions since, suddenly doing what I'd been threatening to do and starting to act like a grown-up, instead of pretending to be one in public. Life's a bitch, hey. Kitty's an inside/outside cat, but it's also the 2nd owner she's had that died (her original owner was a friend of my mother's from across the road we live on) so I'm more annoyed the cat's out of whack because my mother loved her and of all the cats she encouraged to hang round the house as rodent detterents, she was the only one my mother brought into the house and went full derp on the baskets and bowls for Kitty.
