The base idea is good, with people opposing urbanization against those seeking to promote it, but the execution was less than ideal. Even looking past how the reoccurring "admins" of the enemy team are goddamn Power Rangers, their dialogue got way too whimsical at times, and towards the end their own personal goals were wildly different. As for the plot, one moment you're fighting against the revival of ancient gods that leads up to the revelation that you're the special Mary Sue character that's destined to save the region, the next you're just continuing doing the gym challenge like nothing happened. Alongside many other personal complaints about how gym leaders, puzzles, and advancing to new areas were handled.
If you just want to see new features in a Gen II format, just play Polished Crystal, Prism has so far only been a learning experience on what to avoid when working out a story (although I agree, coding-wise it's impressive). If the postgame more than makes up for it I could see myself continue playing it, but for now I'll just move on to other hacks.
