>>58264986quin's a bug type gym leader with a flair for the dramatic, upon entering her gym, challengers are greeted by a strange figure cloaked in what looks like layers of leaves and silk who welcomes them and explains the rules: much like the national park's bug catching challenge, they've got a set amount of time to catch a pokemon, one with "potential to change and achieve greatness." there's an added catch in the fact that a small handful of the gym's staff and or other challengers will be participating in the catching contest too and have the right to challenge you to battle during it. upon presenting your pokemon to the weirdo at the front, they'll carefully assess each and every remaining participant's catch, only throwing off her cloak when the winner is decided. what exactly determines a pokemon's "potential" to her? well, how many of stages of evolution it has left to go through of course! while you might assume the way to win is to look for a powerful mon like scyther or heracross, a low level wurmple will actually do you better here, what matters to quin is the work the goes into molding you and your pokemon into something beautiful.
