I heard there's a new minigame that raises EVs. Does this completely replace EV gains from battling, or do traditional EV gains still happen and this is just an alternate option? Does this allow you to see a poke's gained EVs, either in numbers or at least roughly (maybe a graphical way like the old beauty/etc stats, pic related) And is this available right from the start of the game? About how long does it take to max a single poke's evs through minigames?
Also, since there is a new eeveelution, I would assume you can get eevee pretty easily, but how early in the game are they and stones available? Can you catch them or are you given one? I want a jolteon, but unless the move chart has been drastically altered you usually want to evolve them super early, so if they show up by like the fourth gym that's not so great.
