1. Banette: I have no reason beyond it being freaking adorable and having an interesting backstory. It was useful in Emerald, though.
2. Scrafty: Good movepool, nice typing, cool design and it's a qt3.14, what's not to love? To be honest I couldn't care less about its popularity. I don't hate Pokemon because of their fans.
3. Cradily: It raped my team in Sapphire, so I decided to use one. Best fossil.
4. Toxicroak: Total bro in Pearl. Its design is pretty neat too.
5. Joltik: Again, no reason beyond being 3qt5me. Just look at it, godddamnit.
6. Alakazam: Strong and for some reason I like how it looks. Not really fond of its pre-evos, though.
7. Gengar: My first bro and my first favorite. I admit I liked it because of the anime first, but since then it has a place in my team.
8. Volcarona: Very useful in game, adorable pre evo.
9. Yamask line: I just loved them the first moment I saw them for no particular reason.
10. Froslass: Favorite Ice type, nice design, nice backstory.
Oh my, it was hard to find 10, and even harder to find reasons besides "I just like them"
