I'd ask if they could trade their Groudons over to my cart so I could have a team of Groudons just to look at, but then I'd pretend like something came up and like I'd trade them back later, even though I never intended to.
I still have a friend's Shiny Crobat on my Ruby cart. I actually intended to level it up from Zubat for him, but never got around to trading it back. He probably wouldn't have it anymore if I traded it back anyway, though.
I accidentally deleted my original Sceptile because I wanted to start a new game and thought I traded all my important Pokemon to another cart, but forgot I had left it in the Day Care and I was only checking the PC.
I really enjoyed the Pokemon contests in Ruby and Sapphire and spent hours doing them. I would decide certain Pokemons move sets to get the most points.
I would roleplay taking sand baths or using the onsen in Lavaridge Town or taking a vacation on the S.S. Tidal.
I stopped liking Pokemon at Sinnoh because the designs got really ugly and dumb. Chimchar and Bidoof were the nails in the coffin for me. I'm just here for nostalgia and lewd pokegirls.
