All these formes. I was willing to turn the other way with megas assuming we'd consistently get more each gen and round out the Pokedex fairly. Instead we have 1 starter with 2 megas, and 5 with 1 mega. The rest do not have a mega at all. Instead, they decide to release regional exclusive formes that... Again seem to randomly apply to only some Pokemon. Many of them are DeviantArt tier desu. I foresee this trend continuing next gen when they scrap adding megas and alolans and instead give a few random fusion formes or something stupid. To me, this is turning into the kind of clusterfuck of half executed ideas that Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh have.
I'm also annoyed at the regression in legendary design and lore. I thought gen 6 made good progress by offering pretty grounded well designed legendaries and a reasonable number. This generation, they decided to go batshit crazy again with the number of special snowflake legendaries.
I'm also tired of them dropping features of previous games.
They really need to rebalance the meta. They've added too much edgelord try hard pokemon that dominate the meta and they haven't bothered updating the stats and move pools of old mons.
The regions are too cooridor like and the npc trainers are too casual.
The characters and story have become increasingly anime inspired, which is so damn generic and cringe worthy. It's a clusterfuck of ideas now. It is increasingly lacking in a uniform theme and style.
They are fucking lazy because their fan base enables them. I don't want to support what they are doing to pokemon anymore
