An unnerved Siebold steps back with his hands raised, giving Trevenant plenty of room to plant seeds on Gyarados. It's only when he realizes how this affects her does he snap out of his fright and take action again, "H-Hold on now! Gyarados, Dragon Rage! Shake him off of you! I er.. I don't have the strength to do it myself."

Trevenant manages to seed the sea serpent before she can do a counterattack, but that's all he's able to do. Seconds afterward, he is hit by the immense power of a shockwave fueled by pure rage, and loses his footing. Trevenant falls off of Gyarados and back into the storming waters, so much for that plan.
Siebold rubs his forehead and sighs, "Phew, that was a close..."
