You're all failing to realize that OP is kinda right. When GF makes new Kanto pandering shit after gen 8 they WILL use people's backlash as an excuse, saying how evil oldfag gamers shitted on their attempt at doing something new. Game companies are all about victimizing themselves nowadays.
Their decision still sucks though and there is no good reason to defend it.
