What if the final evolution of this region's flying type actually differs depending on the time of day that it evolves.
Like, what if it's typing if it evolves during the day makes it into a flying/fire type or some other variant (flying/psychic?), and it has a different/lighter design. And if it evolves during the night time it becomes a flying/dark type or something along those lines (flying/ghost possibly to keep it opposite the other variant).
It's just an idea at this point, but it would go hand in hand with the whole theme of the game being sun and moon, since they basically equate to day and night cycles.
Maybe if not the region's bird, most likely we will see atleast one new pokemon with this sort of design to it.
