>>55420295>>55422267>Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon (Wii)Similar to 2, but uses the FF job system and each job has their own set of abilities, but you can switch them before dungeons. Has a "Sp" system where abilities cost a set amount of Sp and it recharges over time.
The Jobs and Sp system make combat more interesting than 2. It also has more content and better story and characters (though it's still far far away from PMD level).
However, the variety of traps and enemies is lower than 2, and it is also a bit too easy, so CD 2 is still a bit above it for me.
If you are a Final Fantasy fan then you will get a good dose of nostalgia with this game since most of the soundtrack consists of remixes of FF music.
It got a port for the DS with some extra features, but it was Japan-only and I don't know much about it.
>Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY!An ""enhanced"" port of the Wii game. I haven't played it yet, so I don't know much about it.
The reason why I say ""enhanced"" with quotations is because I don't know if it is a superior version of the Wii game since, from watching a bit of footage, I noticed some things:
-It adds a "buddy" system which seems to be the main feature of the port (the original Wii game didn't have companions). It allows you to recruit some monsters/NPCs/FF Summons as companions for dungeons, but the Wii game was already pretty easy and I don't know if the Switch version was rebalanced to account for this extra help. Also, some of the buddies are DLC.
-The final boss fight was changed by removing the main gimmick that made it somewhat interesting, I haven't checked other fights.
-I know that one major cutscene was gutted to make it more "family-friendly", and the changed version is so lame. I don't know if there are more changes like this
