Toxic Thread stays the same but now it badly poisons the target instead of normal poison. So it's basically a Toxic + 1 Speed drop.
And now the Mega, based on the tsuchigumo and giant monstrous spiders in general, gets quite bulky with hairy legs and big fangs.

It can use its bulk to endure at least one hit and use Toxic Thread to both outspeed its opponent and cause massive damage to it next turn. Even if it's dealt with the poison will still trouble the opponent, and switches are discouraged due to his access to Sticky Web and Toxic Spikes.
