>>49261016You act like Normal fans don't exist, Pokémon is seen as a safe thing to like, so it attracts hyper casual players, if Pokémon became too hard for example a lot of those people would drop it, a lot of them hate the idea of difficulty options because it makes the way they play "Less valid"
It does have people like that, but it has many factors and people just being elitists over Pokémon of all things.
Pokémon has to be one thing, but it can never really branch out or try being truly something anyone can enjoy.
Mario is for everyone, Kirby is for, everyone, Zelda is for everyone, Pokémon is for kids and that fact of the matter, we can discuss is even worth getting for kids, but that's just how the games are made in mind this limits the games greatly as the player base gets older so they have to rely on cheap tactics to keep the money flowing from them with constant nostalgia pandering, game like Kirby and Metroid love acknowledge legacy they have all the time for new and old, but Pokémon only focus on Kanto because they don't care about the legacy of the franchise it is all just a means to an end, why do think BDSP were the way they are? Even to the point they bring problems form DP back into the game despite Plat fixing it.
Pokémon has just become a stale low-quality franchise that exist only to pump products out, the games are just advertisements for new collectable plushies and figures.
I can only hope PLA changes that, but we might in way to deep and the only way it changes is if we get a Sonic 06 level trash game that ruins the reputation of the games forever.
