>>55264955I can understand why some people would be disappointed since they expected Pecharunt to be some grand evil mastermind who is only after the masks as part of an overarching plan, but I think him actually being a impudent foolish kid leading a trio of nearly equally incompetent Pokemon just works better both as an antagonistic Momotaro stand-in and within the Pokemon setting itself. Specially since the Loyal Three had Team Rocket vibes to begin with.
