Ok, you're in charge of designing a pokemon game, what would you do?
I'd would
>replace starter trio with Ice, Ground and steel
>You're allowed to choose wether you want the female or male one when you pick your starter
>You get one free starter of the usual elemental trio (grass, water and fire) halfway into the game, and also get to freely choose wether it is a male or female
>daycare unlocked halfway into the game rather than early on
>More character customization
>an actually evil evil team for once with real stakes
>aimed at a more teen/mature audience than literally toddlers
>No I will not shill Charizard
>Endgame content would include a trade evolver so you can evolve trade-evolving pokemon by yourself and a ball changer if you want to go into pokeball autism or put pokemon into funny balls
>move tutoring system where you get access to better moves gradually as you progress in the game, with ease of getting the exact moves on your pokemon that you want
>bring back dexnav
>You can use HMs without having to teach them to a pokemon, just need to have a pokemon in the party that could learn the move, to be able to use it outside of battle
>limit some HMs so that to beat the game you don't need to use all of them, most only reserved for secret areas and legendary hunting and gaining items and tm's
>Able to purchase TMs that gradually get unlocked more and more as you beat gyms
>No exp candies until after beating the champion so you actually have to put some effort into leveling your pokemon while in the main game
>access to all pokemon of the game before beating the champion, none left to be only accesible after beating the game (excluding legendairies) though stuff like Dittos for breeding are reserved mostly near the end and before elite 4
