Can you believe we're less than 7 days away from the original Pokémon anime finally ending? I know it's still going to be airing new episodes, but this is the equivalent to when Naruto stopped airing and Boruto started. There are some people out there who have watched every single Naruto episode and not one single Boruto episode because of how long Naruto was and how unappealing Boruto looked at the time.
26 years. After the next episode, this anime will have been running nearly nonstop for 26 years (excluding natural disasters, Porygon incident, etc.). There have been people wanting to drop this show for so very long now but haven't because the show has become an "addiction". There are also those that dropped the show earlier because they hated Ash and are looking to pick the show up again because of new MCs, although I bet that amount is lower than the former. I'm sure the new anime will get a huge boost in ratings over the first few months, but will it actually last?
