Each section of the song I think sounds alright individually but as a whole there's like a shift in tone not in the original when I swap parts.
I'm not going to dwell on it though, I think it turned out better than my initial estimates when I first started looking at the song and realized how hard it was to simplify it to 8-bit.
And with that I finished my backlog of suggested songs
except the DOGARS theme but I can't fucking find the MIDI of that in the BW2 ROM no matter how many times I look so fuck it I'm not doing that one it would lose charm by not having the voices anyway. I have a couple songs I want to do but are there any new suggestions for songs to cover in Crystal's engine before that? No Sinnoh, I like Sinnoh but I'd rather let Frogg do his own thing since he wants to port every Sinnoh theme, two different covers of a song isn't necessarily bad but if I can do something unique that won't overlap that's a better use of my time.
