So here’s my interpretation of the flying coins.
When it’s born, it doesn’t have any coin, and it is part normal and psychic. It retained the psychic type from its common ancestor that has now espurr and it’s evolution line. The only purpose of the spychic type would be to find the perfect coins, and he can keep them easily with its mind.
That would also be nice for him to have the pickup ability is game, as it would only evolve if it already picked up 4 coins in game and reach level 14. When it evolves, it’s coins fusion on its forehead. It looses its psychic element since it’s not useful anymore, and concentrate on normal base attack and learning different moves.
Also has a psychic attack where he throws his coins 3 times.
Obvious powder blue with silver coins for shiny form.
