Just had a game right now where my opponent and I were one attack away from winning. This was the deciding turn, we were both down to our last prizes, and all I had to do was use my primary attack to win.
And then I hit a snag.
I had been relying on a Counter Energy to make up the cost of my pokemon's attacks. With the KO I got my previous turn, I had reduced our prizes to the same amount, nullifying the double omnitype effect. I couldn't attack. All I could do was finish my turn and pass it over to him. He could have won the next turn, but then all of a sudden, he conceded the match. He assumed that since I was able to attck the previous turn, I was going to finish him off this turn too and take the win.
So there's a lesson for you folks, always keep up the fight to the last breath.
