The fog is annoying, but it hurts him just as much as it does the player, and the player is given tools to work around it. I lead Mawile and Stunky, with Mawile Stockpiling and Stunky using Hone Claws to boost accuracy before laying into Floette. Mawile Baton Passes to Trumbeak, whose Keen Eye makes it immune to the fog, and after removing Comfey and subsequently Weedle the Gloom is easy cleanup.
