>>37791328>>37791346The one thing that's tricky about reference sheets and concept art is that there are no real established rules. There are commonalities between them, but it's hard to make a real argument based on their patterns. For example most reference sheets for SM were designed with the intent to show personality off but then you have Solgaleo's original sheet from SM (not his more expressive USUM one with his new form) and a few other Pokemon like Pheramosa who are just stoic.
Personally I don't believe this is real but given the nature of concept art and reference sheets it's really hard to use past examples as a way to rule things out because they're not consistent across the board.
