Right-winged jokes are never funny NOT because they're "too clever" or "political incorrect", but because they're just mean spirited insults. In this situation, OP is not trying to make people laugh. He is trying to punch down on a minority that he knows can't defend themselves as they're only .3% of the population on a good day. This is why OP only says these sort of jokes on anonymous forums. If he did it in person, even if a transgender isn't present, he knows no one would laugh and instead just roll their eyes at him.
