>>54795707yeah i'd say so, between the asinine nothingburger story and the dex expansion removing the feeling of unova being extremely isolated from the other regions BW2 feels like a romhack that misses the point of BW. the new mons do definitely add a lot to the experience but they take a lot away too. the changes to the progression through the region and the new map layouts were basically a straight upgrade though. personally i've never seen BW2 as anything but a mixed bag, whereas BW was solid all around. i know this is an unpopular opinion though.
also nate and rosa are a serious downgrade from hilbert and hilda.
