I just managed to solo it with Tera Ground Curse Gastrodon spamming Earthquake. Obviously you want Storm Drain to block Surf, and Tera Ground means he can't delete you with Thunder. That leaves him with Play Rough and Iron Tail, so I went max Def, though I'm sure HP would work as well. It seems like Pikachu never (or at least rarely) removes your buffs, so you're free to Curse up to max at the start of the fight. After you're Cursed up you'll be taking very little from his phys moves, Leftovers was plenty to keep me healthy (don't think I had to Recover once).
Definitely not optimized, threw in Tera Blast in case I ran out of EQ PP and also just to charge up Tera.
