Looking forward to the first session this evening. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to unravel the pernicious plot of a pathological liar.
This Cherrim came and hired us to track down a thief and bring them to justice. We did, by beating the shit out of them and taking everything they had on them. Strangely, the Pokémon did not fight or run away like most thieves, only begging for mercy and denying they committed a crime. When we went back to Cherrim for payment, she let it slip that the Pokemon we beat on was no thief, but a member of her former village; Everything suddenly clicked into place. After a short grilling (literally), she revealed this Pokémon convinced the rest of the village to kick her out because of her sub-par Machiavellianism, and she wanted revenge.
The guild has "recruited" Cherrim as a sem-willing captive to keep her from calling the fuzz. Now the guild must decide what to do about the situation. Should the Guild turn Cherrim in to the village authorities and attempt to explain the situation, smoothing over their assault on an innocent Pokémon? Or should Lost Hope embrace the infamy of being a cutthroat "imposter guild"?
