I glossed over the feral talk. I'll just say that its really just up to how you want to implement it, if at all. Maybe in the areas your story takes place, the characters never encounter fully feral human-mons. Canon's loose for a reason, so if there's something you don't gel with, you don't HAVE to include it (and if you feel like you do, maybe just have some character reference it as a rumor or something, idk).
