But my point before wasn't about Wailord specifically, I just picked a shit-looking card at a random. My point was that there is a clear divide between cards Nintendo wants to be viable, and cards that are artificially designed to be bad. Every TCG has filler cards, but Pokemon's idea of filler isn't a failed concept that just happens to not be meta, but an intentionally bad card designed to fail.
But since I was wrong about Wailord, maybe my point doesn't have any legs to stand on. I know there was much more evidence of this during Gen 4/5/6 than now. I should have realized that Wailord's HP gives it a niche. What do you think about Pokemon filler cards?
